Crickets and most of all insects feeding does not provide the bearded dragon with all the nutrients you need. So there is a process called gut- loading . Gut- Load is a simple process 48 hours where crickets and other feeder insects feed items like tropical fish food , dry puppy kibble I baby cereal . For water you can use vegetables like carrots, sweet potatoes , orange slices and green leaf green stems . Insects eat these items for 48 hours. Then, after 48 hours you can feed your bearded dragons fed insects and they will transfer all of these nutrients for the bearded dragon. This process can help to increase the growth rate of your bearded dragon.
